Should both answers appear in the introduction of a two-part IELTS Task 2?

A two-part Task 2 asks two questions in one prompt. Both answers should be visible in the introduction, not only in the bodies. Sentence one names the topic without pasting the prompt. Sentence two answers question one and question two — short, direct, in the same order the prompt used. The bodies then develop those answers, one job each, in roughly equal space. If the introduction only restates the two questions, or only answers the first, Task Response usually drops because the reader cannot find both decisions. This is not a discuss-both-views essay and not an agree-or-disagree essay. Do not hide the second answer until the last line. We do not promise a band. Practice IELTS marks the four writing criteria as a practice estimate, not an official score.
