Note completion asks you to fill gaps in notes — often a list or an outline — with words from the passage, inside the printed word limit. The notes follow the order of one section, not the whole paper. Read the notes first, including any heading, then find that section. Copy the word that belongs in the gap; a plural or a verb form that no longer matches the notes is a wrong answer even if the meaning is close. Your own wording is wrong even when it is “the same idea.” This is not summary completion (a paragraph-shaped box) and not sentence completion (full sentences with gaps). Do not reread from line one for every gap. Practice IELTS is Writing and Reading only. A Reading mark here is a practice score, not an official band.
