A problem-solution (or causes-and-solutions) Task 2 is two jobs, not a catalogue. Pick one cause you can explain and one fix that answers that cause. Body one: name the cause, say how it produces the problem, add one developed example. Body two: name the fix, say who does it and why it would help that same cause. Five problems in a list, or five tips with no link, usually leave Task Response thin because nothing is developed. Do not put the cause and the fix in the same mixed paragraph, and do not invent a third body of extra ideas. Name the type before you write. We do not promise a band. Practice IELTS marks the four writing criteria as a practice estimate, not an official score.
